Should I go skiing?

I go on a cross country ski trip every year and it’s coming up in a few weeks but I just found out I’m about 5w5d pregnant! Some days I have nausea and fatigue and other days I’m totally fine. During the trip I’ll be about 7-8 weeks and the place is REMOTE. Like peeing in an outhouse, no electricity kind of remote and the only way to or from the cabin is about 2 hours of cross country skiing (ski in, ski out). I’m nervous about being sick or tired the whole time or if I miscarry I won’t be near any medical care. I know this type of primitive trip isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I love it! Should I just not go or am I overthinking it? Edit to add: I am considered high risk due to my age and medical history (although I think the medication I’m on will mitigate those risks), so that’s also a factor 😅 My doc doesn’t consider me high enough risk to be seen early though, I will just need closer monitoring once I’m further along

You may be overthinking a bit, but when it doubt please discuss with your doctor; they can provide better input then we can here 😊

I say sit this one out there will be others 🫶🏼

I would skip for sure!

It's not clear from your post, do you have a history of miscarriage? I'd stay home if high risk. Otherwise, you're too early for this trip to affect your pregnancy it sounds like fun. You'll be nauseated from home so why not on a trip?

Let me go with you next year!!! Don't go this year sis, wait for me

@J.S. Jaees I have no history of miscarriage however I am high risk due to my age and medical history 😕

@Chéri so true! I sent a message to my doctor, so hopefully she can ease my worry whether I go or not
