thank you! my boss has been hounding me to get her into daycare so I can work more but I really don’t know how to go around it. just saw the email where they said I would have to visit them and pick out a provider there. my first time so i’m not sure
@Tiana ok maybe that can be a much faster way because they have more info there. I say go asap then lol
If you google daycares near me , you can call them to see if they have space.
Good morning! I’m from Brooklyn NY, i also have a ACS voucher for my son. you would receive a email for ACS with the voucher it’s attached to a booklet. You don’t have to go to the ACS office unless you are going there for information about you vouchers because they never answer the phone. These are the step : first you would find a daycare provider that accepts the ACS vouchers Second you would provide the daycare with the ACS vouchers paper so they can sign and fill it out they will keep the paper!! So please make sure you take pictures of the voucher paper when filled out and signed. Third you would upload those pictures you took to the ACS voucher portal. Give it 2 weeks to a month then go to the ACS office to see what’s the update… I waited a month then I went to the office they took my I still had to wait I waited an additional 2 weeks then I went to the office again, a lady noticed me and got my son voucher in
@Kimberly Lochard girl you are a lifesaver thank you so much! been trying to get her into daycare for a while now but them prices they were asking for was wayyy too much alone and it took a while to even apply for a voucher so when I seen the email i’m like it’s go time! but what do I do? thank you for answering all my questions very helpful
I never knew u had to pick out the provider at the ACS office. You can google and call around your area for availability spots and have them fill out the voucher form and you send it back to the ACS email or now the site that they have to submit it.
