Food became my first trimester enemy

I absolutely love food (normally) but the first trimester has really thrown me for a loop! I can’t take any strong smells or flavors, and seeing photos of food or reading menus makes me nauseous. Anyone else experience this? I really hope it improves soon!

I found that if I pushed myself to eat, it actually made me feel better even tho I was repulsed by most food. Even something simple like chicken broth and boiled butter noodles was helpful. Little by little it helped.

Hi sweetie. I had it so bad that I lost 8 pounds. So here is what I learned: - Baby boy was born healthy. So don’t stress too much, and try your best. - I’d start with rice and chicken broth in the morning. Almost like an easy congee. You can freeze the rice in small portions and warm it up in the microwave with boxed broth. - I drank lemon ginger tea every day. - The smell of lemons and rubbing alcohol helped reduce my nausea a lot. -I ate a small snack every 1-2 hours. This helped reduce my nausea the most. - I wish I reached out to my doctor sooner. It’s shouldn’t be so bad that you can’t eat at all. I should have told my doctor I was loosing weight and not able to eat daily.

You can try this if you think you can. Again, just trying to give you options. I completely understand if this doesn’t work. I know you’re doing the best you can. https://kirbiecravings.com/microwave-steamed-egg/

Lmao girl I lost 10 lbs because I couldn’t eat or drink. When I did pee that shit looked like apple juice and I was barely peeing. I’ve tried so many medications. It was shocking when I was throwing them out. But what eventually worked for me was zofran, promethazine and b6 taken all together. The smell of food wasn’t an issue to me though just the smell of my husband and my dog’s breath. But seeing seafood and chic fil a made me wanna throw up
