Anyone diagnosed with cholestatis?

I've been itching everywhere like crazy so was called in for a blood test today. I'm 37 weeks and feeling so nervous about the whole stillbirth risk this carries. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do they offer induction if it's mild? I know they do if it's moderate /severe but Im so scared to risk anything if the levels are even borderline. Does this go away after pregnancy or will liver issues come back to haunt me later in life? I'm literally having a freak out meltdown I think with this whole cholestatis thing. My body is breaking down and I want to be done with pregnancy now 😭

I have just had my second blood test for this and waiting the results. I am not sure of the next steps but they can induce from 37 weeks if the need, if not they’ll continue to monitor you and most likely test regularly to keep an eye on the levels! I’ve read it goes away pretty much soon as the baby is born. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏻

I had this with my first it’s the worst I feel for you. Mine was pretty mild and I was induced 2 weeks early and the symptoms went away straight after giving birth they also said I’d most likely have it again if I was to be pregnant but I didn’t get it a second time

I’ve been having weekly blood tests and my consultant wants me to move my section to 37-38 weeks instead of 39. I’ve also been started on a medication for it and they want me to have a liver scan. They might offer induction if your levels keep rising, I think it depends on them.

Thanks so much ladies. I'm definitely scared of what will happen post pregnancy with cholestatis and the complications it might bring 😞 hoping I'll get a call Monday to see what the levels are and what their plan is 🤞
