Baby #3

I'm really early in my pregnancy so we don't know the gender yet. I'm convinced we're having another boy and I really like the name Jacob. However, one of our other boys is called Edward. I'm hesitant to use Jacob as a name because of a very popular film with lead characters with these names. So, I guess my question is, would you automatically think of the film when you hear of siblings called Edward and Jacob? Or does that not even come to mind? (PS - I don't even like that particular film 😂)

I didn’t until I reread the names like 5 times lmfao twilight.

I was thinking so hard of what film it could be, then it came to me. definitely not an automatic thought of twilight 😂

I think they’re lovely traditional names, also haven’t heard anyone speak about Twilight in years?? So I’m sure it’s only going to get more forgotten as time goes on

I think of twilight immediately 😆 my husband wanted to name our daughter Bella and I turned it down for this. I'm a total twihard but don't want people thinking that's how I chose my kids names

I think it depends how into the films you were - I had no clue until I read some of the comments already. Plus I'd also say if you love it then go for it xx

I immediately thought of Twilight 😂 sorry 🫣 Buuut it’s not that big a deal… they won’t be introduced together their whole lives and who in their age bracket is going to know about Twilight or really care 🤷🏻‍♀️ I say go for it 👍🏼

My husband told me to stop worrying what others think as say as I over thought on names. My first is Lucas all I used to hear was Star Wars crap, My second is called Arthur-joe he’s only one and I worry people will call him half-a-job. I’m currently pregnant with our third and love the name Jacob and also Noah but my FIL has ruined them slightly by saying how they’re names from emmerdale or Noah’s ark, and finally because my second loves mini cheddars. Jacob’s crackers… People can never keep their mouths shut anyone could pick a name without the hesitation 🙈

I instantly thought of twilight, but my husband is Jacob Edward so it's a bit of a joke in our family. I think they are both good names

I like the films and didn't even see a connection to the films until I read the comments lol x
