Sertraline

Hi everyone! I’m 18 weeks pregnant with baby #3. My dr has prescribed me to sertraline to help me manage my stress and anxiety (I have two other littles as well). I’m wondering who else has taken this while pregnant, and what your experience was? I’ve never taken anything like this before. Just want to make sure I’m making the right choice for myself and my baby!

I’ve taken it for years and during both my pregnancies and breastfeeding. And I take a pretty high dose (150mg). I’ve had a very good experience with sertraline. Had really no side effects and it helps me

Im on sertraline. It can help if you stick to i can get busy and forget to take it x

I took 50mg during my 3rd trimester and had no issues with me or my baby. I got off of it at 6 weeks pp but at 11 months pp I got back on it bc I hate my bosses and they make me miserable.

I have taken Zoloft since I was pregnant and was prescribed 50 mg. I got paranoid after I had my son and lowered it to 25 mg once I started breastfeeding (even though my doctor and many others said it was okay).

I took 50 mg during my pregnancy & I think it made a major difference! I eventually moved up to 100mg postpartum & I think it saved my life. OB warned me about possibility of minor withdrawal symptoms, but my baby was fine, just a little jittery.

I’ve taken it for like ten years now, through two pregnancies and breastfeeding with no issues for me or babies

I wasn’t pregnant while on it as I got off before getting pregnant. I didn’t enjoy the med itself, but it is one of the safest options for pregnancy

Sertraline literally saved me and my pregnancy! I was seriously considering terminating my very wanted pregnancy because the anxiety was so bad. I was prescribed 75 mg, and it was absolutely amazing. I had no side effects that I could tell, and now I have a beautifully healthy 2 month old son! I'm still taking it and it's been very helpful postpartum as well.

I've been on Sertraline for years and have taken it in a really high dose (200mg daily) through both pregnancies and breastfeeding with no issues! It greatly improved my quality of life

I’m on 150mg to help with my anxiety and depression and I don’t feel any side effects at all, it’s just helping me feel a bit better.

I’ve taken it for years. I found it less effective during pregnancy but really didn’t want to increase it
