How are you introducing food to him?

@Manda Rose I’ll put it on a plate but he just picks it up and throws it and never does hand to mouth. I’ll put it on a spoon and try and feed it to him myself but he’ll just turn his head away.

Have you tried without a plate? Just one item at a time on his tray?

@Tasha yep!! lol

I agree with Tasha, try just on his tray, making food finger shaped Also for spoon, try giving him one to hold and you use another to fed him Sometimes my little one will refuse the spoon but will happily take munches from my fingers, there’s plenty of time later on to teach table manners

Will he take weaning wands or wafers?

A feeding therapist at 10 months old may be very beneficial. Help LO learn and give you some strategies to support LO's learning

@Tasha i try my best to avoid store bought baby foods and try to make my own stuff so im not sure about that, he hasn’t tried any

Ok I didn’t use them until later in our weaning journey but there are baby puff recipes that you could try maybe? My baby never liked my homemade purées 🥴 so we did Ella’s kitchen. Have you tried fruits in a mesh feeder too?

Other things to consider: is your LO hungry enough at meal times? Try offering food 30-60 minutes after finishing a bottle. Check out SolidStarts and FeedingLittles on Instagram for great tips on how to encourage interest in eating while you wait to connect with a feeding therapist
