How much to pay family to babysit?

My daughter is 6 months old, and I'm in college currently. My sister, who is 16 is going to be babysitting for us 2x a week. Tuesday and Thursday nights for 4 hours each night. She lives with my parents about an hour away, so it takes a bit of gas as well. Instead of driving down both days she wants to stay tuesday-thursday with us, which is fine by me (our dad is a piece of work, so I'm thinking she will enjoy the time away from home). She wouldn't be watching the baby anytime besides the 4 hours on Tuesday and on Thursday. I'm trying to figure out what to pay her. I was thinking 100/ week, our mom thought that was way too much. She is 16 and doesn't have experience with babies before my daughter, but I don't want to cheap out on my sister lol. Thoughts or anecdotal advice?

I'd pay, at minimum $15 and hour. Because she's driving to you to do you the favor at the end of the day yk? Could she use a break from her dad? Probably. But i think it has more to do with driving 2 hrs round-trip twice a week to help you out. A 16 year old here working in and out get $17 and hour. A nanny coming to my home was $26 an hour.

Wow I think it’s good you are offering to even pay her! If it was me I would just cover petrol and then provide snacks/meals etc whilst she stays with you. Maybe chuck her 50 a week out of good will.
