Weaning

Anyone else’s babies still just not interested in food? My little girl is 7 months old and I’ve been trying to wean her since a week before she turned 6 months but she just isn’t interested 99% of the time?? I feel like I’m doing something wrong! I’ve been serving her purée’s and BLW options but she just isn’t interested, she’ll close her mouth and turn away or just refuse completely!

We were the same until about a week ago, I decided to start giving him 2 meals instead of one so that he had the chance to get more exposure quickly and it seems to have helped. He won't let me spoon feed him but is putting the spoon in himself a bit now and munching on some finger foods.

We are the same, doing a bit of both BLW and purée, giving twice a day but some days she will eat loads and other days she won't even touch it. I have tried different times off the day too. My girl is starting nursery in a few weeks so I'm hoping that encourages her more with food

I honestly wouldn't worry, I feel like in the UK we really rush things. When she's ready she will eat. Mine is 8 months now and she's having 2 meals but still very small portions but she's gradually gaining more interest, she still just wants her milk all the time though and that's fine. They all gradually get there.
