Food

Anyone else’s baby just decided they don’t want food? My baby does good when it comes to food but recently she’s not interested in eating. She’ll have 4-5 bites and is over it. She does good with snack time but when it’s breakfast and dinner she’s recently not wanting to it after a few bites.

Yep. I just switched to smaller meals.

My daughter is teething really bad so she has to do smaller meals and her stomach has been upset so we do low acid foods

My son will not eat solids except snacks like puffs or yogurt melts. I don’t know what to do either 😭

Ugh omg.. My little guy will eat ANYTHING at my grandparents’ house, but at home he acts picky as hell. Or will have a couple of bites and then he wants nothing to do with the food anymore 😒 I’m considering just puréeing everything because he seems to do really really well with yogurt and spoon fed meals really

@Alexis Puffs is all what my daughter wants 😂 I get snacks from bellies and she’ll eat those like nothing.

@Aly I’m considering purées again since she also does good when I spoon feed her sometimes. Makes me glad I’m not the only mommy going through this lol. I thought it was just her not wanting my food.

@Ana makes me feel better too actually 😅. How old is your LO?

@Ana whoops sorry I just realized this was a March 2024 babies group. I’m not in the group (I’m Canadian) but your post came up on my page. My guy was born in February 2024

From my experience most food issues for kids under 1.5 yrs is an independent thing I just mix up the following and see what works (remembering to that with little babies who still take breast milk of r formula it’s NOT there to fill em up, just to let them try new things) -give small table scraps (as their doc calls em) like peas or beans to feed themselves and give a spoonful of solid every so often while child reaches for another table scrap - put purée, baby food, water, ANYTHING in the containers provided in the link below https://a.co/d/bFI1nQR - skip the solids and try again later - let baby get the experience of ‘doing it themselves’ by helping them drink the baby food from the bowl instead of spoon feeding

Found that my daughter is the same unless it’s on my plate 😂 then she wants all of it
