Birth control

Im pregnant with my third child, my second it was a very traumatic birth which resulted in a c section severely damaging my uterus. With my current pregnancy, I have so much going on and high risk of uterine rupture. If this happens both the baby and I could potentially not make it. The doctor said my body cannot handle another pregnancy, but I am still very able to get pregnant. How do we avoid pregnancy completely, but in the moral way. Like birth control, tubes tide, and my husband getting a vasectomy are all immoral. what do we do to completely avoid pregnancy besides staying abstinent?

NFP! I use the Marquette method, but there's several.

I did do NFP before, I guess with everyone chirping in my ear I’m just afraid it’s not as effective

Oh my goodness no! If I were you I'd read up, get some data, and look into success rates from reliable sources. Marquette University has lots of good info. NFP can be 91-99% effective when used correctly (roughly the same as condoms).

As for a spiritual layperson perspective, the devil comes to lie and accuse and incite fear. Don't let that fear keep you from doing what's right, and in all cases of course, talk to your priest for advice!

I would speak with your priest. Birth control is allowed for medical reasons and high risk of dying from another pregnancy seems like a medical reason to me.
