GTT results!

I had mine last Friday and got a call from the midwife yesterday saying I have GD 🫠

@Saritha oh bless you! I’m a bit nervous to receive mine in all fairness, been nervous since the start of my pregnancy! Did you have any signs or symptoms before you tested positive do you mind me asking? Xx

I had my test around my 25 week appt. I didn’t hear anything, they said no news is good news. I’ve just had my 28 week appointment and my midwife told me my results then. I would take it if you’ve not heard within a few days you’re fine but obviously it differs depending on which trust you’re at 😊

So I've had this test twice and heard both times on the same day via phonecall. They were both negative results. Are your pregnancy notes kept on an app? I was told the results would also be put on there too. I think it may depend which trust you are part of as it sounds like people have had different experiences

@Hayley Thankyou so much, it’s been added to my badger notes, but hasn’t had any results added yet so it’s still somewhat blank! Will keep an eye on it ☺️xxx

@Sarah yes! I’m on badger notes, it has them noted on there (the tests) but no results as of yet, so hopefully they go up on there within the next couple of days! 🤞☺️

@liv No I didn’t have any symptoms. I didn’t have it during my last pregnancy so it was a bit of a shock.

@Liv I had mine Saturday and badger was updated yesterday. Different area but hopefully you won't have long to wait. As others have said if they're worried/you've got it they'll call you.

My one came back within a day or two!

I was told that they would only be in touch if it was a positive result for GD. I didn’t hear anything back and the test was almost a month ago now. My Badger Notes wasn’t updated either and it’s likely because my hospital is out of my area so the two often don’t connect!
