Hating the look of nurseries!

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the look of every nursery they visit? I'm getting so stressed out by this as need to sort childcare for my baby boy but hating every nursery I visit 😩

Are you just hating the look or the vibe? I really hated the look of the nursery my first goes to, looked a bit dated and on split levels, but by the time we were making the decision it was our only option as everywhere else was fully booked. Even though I hated the look my daughter loved it and is doing so well there and I wouldn’t send her anywhere else. My second is going there in a few weeks and I have no worries at all. It’s totally natural to not like any nursery setting for your child, it feels unnatural to put them there at first, but focus on the people not the building xx

Maybe try a childminder

Hey, thanks ❤️ yeah I think I seem to find with the nurseries that the staff always seem so young (like teenagers) and it just seems chaos. Babies always covered in snot (which I know happens, they're babies!) Not the cleanest space, and I just worry that the babies don't get the attention they need. I'm probably just being an anxious and over protective mum 🙈

If you’ve got a local community Facebook group it’s worth asking on there as there will be lots of local mums who can give you some feedback on the nurseries you’re looking at. Kids are a lot more grubby at nursery, get your little one a nursery wardrobe, it gets covered in food and paint and all sorts xx
