Head down, engaged and dropped
So I’m 31 weeks pregnant and baby girl has been head down since 29 weeks and engaged 4/5. I am also 1cm dilated and I’ve noticed that my bump has significantly dropped these last two days. Also can feel baby girls head in my vag as I cervix monitor just for peace of mind. This has never happened before 40 weeks first baby 38 weeks second baby. I’m 3rd baby and I’m a little worried that she’s gonna appear before 40 weeks. My partner doesn’t get any AL before 1st April as it’s all used up. And paternity pay would leave us in a terrible financial situation as it’s nothing compared to his wage. Is anyone in a similar position or has been and still went on due date or after or did they go before.

@Nili I walk to nursery 5 times a weeks and the trips back and forth are about 3 miles in a day. I also have an active 18 month old and if I’m cleaning or working or errands in town. I am on my feet a lot I would say but it’s my usual. I was just as busy last pregnancy and didn’t pop till 39w5 after a sweep and 41+1 with my first
Have you been to ARI? I have seen people on here that have been monitored in hospital, they may be able to reassure you. Fingers crossed baby stays put for you x
@Hannah I haven’t been to the matty yet. But I’m going to keep an eye out for another week. I’m trying to see how her movements are today as well and then make the decision to get checked
