How does this app work

It looks like you have to pay to see waves, and you can't message anyone unless you've waved or connected. It really doesn't make sense.

I hate that 🤣

Yeah I just do the wave so I can send a message. It’s easier. And a easy by pass to hailing to pay for an app that used to be free
