Nursery's

Hey everyone, so my little girl is only 3 months old and I'm not looking at putting her in nursery till she's maybe 1 and a half maybe even two, but my friends have said nursery waiting lists are mega long and that I should apply now for like 2026... Has this been your experience? Xx

Our nursery waiting list was over a year long and in very high demand, particularly with all the new funding. I would probably just sign up if you know the nursery you want so you can guarantee it when the time comes 😊 better to be over cautious then leave it and potentially miss out imo! x

I got my boy booked in when he was 8 weeks old he'll start when he's around a year old. I would get it sorted soon as there will be funding for 30 hours from next Sept so more people will be putting their children in x

I signed up at 6 weeks old for her to start at 9 months. As Emma said it’s better to get it sorted now so you have the one you want instead of just searching for a place when the time comes

Yeah I signed my little boy up while I was pregnant and so was about a year and a half in advance only as I was worried about missing out! 😂 and now there is funding I’d probably start looking if I were you x

I also seen posts to this nature and I’m 19 weeks pregnant. I contacted a few to see for myself and I’ve only found one nursery that’s local that has 2 spaces left for march 26! Looks like most ladies are now sorting this during pregnancy so I’ve had too to secure a place x
