There’s a couple brands that ship and are all organic, but I haven’t tried them yet. little spoon is one. This website tested different brands and rated them: https://cleanlabelproject.org/the-best-worst-baby-food-products/
I think all of these came back in a. Report about having heavy metals in them :( making your own is definitely cheapest. Or I think maybe little spoon? I keep getting their ads
Download the app Yuka. It scans the bar code and will rate the food and give you quality scale for baby food.
I stick to Once Upon a Farm and Serenity Kids. My toddler loved Cerebelly bars but I ran into an issue with mold. Every box I bought only had 1 or 2 that wasn’t covered in mold so I stoped buying them.
Just ordered little spoon to see if it’s worth it.
@Sarah 🎀 that’s so frustrating because the better brands are equally more costly
@Jocelyn I know. I stock up though. My store has a 10/$10 a few times a year and I’ll stock up and freeze them.
@Sarah 🎀 that’s so gross! Wtf I used to see that with Epic bars my former partner would buy
We've been doing homemade purees as well. We alternate with the brand Cerebelly. They're a private owned company and have great reviews! The brand Kendamil also has baby cereal, both can be found at Target too. I believe Gerber and beech nut and plum all have had issues with higher levels of heavy metals in their baby food so I don't suggest them. https://cerebelly.com/about-cerebelly/ https://us.kendamil.com/collections/baby-cereals When I do make purees I make larger batches and freeze them in silicone ice cube trays then pop those into freezer baggies so I don't have to blend up stuff every day 😊 You could do the same with the Cerebelly pouches if your baby doesn't finish a whole one.
