@Bex oh that sucks! Most I have found online seem to be hundreds of pounds!
we did the expecting antenatal classes in stone, they’re midwife lead, the midwife that ran ours worked out of royal stoke so you could ask a lot of questions regarding hospital and stuff and they could check your hospital notes if you felt worried about anything. i found them very informative, i didn’t manage to make friends from the group sadly as i was a lot younger than the other mums😅
The family hubs in stoke offer antenatal groups. Follow stoke-on-Trent family hubs on Facebook xx
Highly recommend expecting if you are able to pay for classes. They are run by midwives and are far more informative and realistic than NCT. jump into parenting also run a free course if you aren’t in a position to pay Sadly the midwives at the hospital aren’t allowed to promote these groups as they are not run by the trust 🙄
Expecting run classes in Staffs, they're led by midwives. You should be able to get a one-off class at the hospital through your midwifery unit? I've been told they're two hours long.
I was never told about any either when I was pregnant with my little boy… they don’t seem to be as popular anymore?
