Once cleansed with baby wipes, then make sure to pat dry the skin with a paper towel or terrycloth wash cloth til smooth/dry is key. Use Boudreaux's butt paste; I swear by it. (Found at Target) Most people don't always wait til babe is dry, so moisture is sealed, and it worsens the rash. Sometimes, doing the same, but alternative pastes also can help. Coconut oil is anti-fungal. Nystatin from your pediatrician might be of help as well when it looks like a bright, "angry red" kind of rash. Hope it gets better!
Giving a baking soda bath can neutralize the acid from the diarrhea on her skin.. sometimes wipes just aren't going to cut it and can be more irritating. I swear by Butt Paste but haven't tried triple paste which seems to be the new favorite among moms.
A lot of diaper cream. I don’t wipe it off unless the baby poops. For the diarrhea, call your pediatrician. While you wait, make sure you give her plenty of fluids.
Get you some triple paste that works for the most part in any rash my baby has had . I would use that and Aquafor always keep them on hand . Hope your baby gets better soon 🙏💞
