No Charlie is definitely not a dog's name.
what’s your firsts name?
I've never met a dog called Charlie but my sons called Charlie, he's 3 and we still love his name 🥰 Our daughter is called Elsie-Rose and when my husband was really small he had a dog called Elsie, that's obviously not why we chose her name but it also didn't out us off using it :) If you love a particular name i wouldn't be putting off using it. Lots of dogs now have human names too so it's inevitable some pets may share your kids names :)
No it’s definitely not a dogs name, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog called Charlie and it’s not a name I would think of when I thought of a dog. We have an Isaac & a Theo and we’re planning on using Charlie for our 3rd baby due in May
If you were thinking of naming him Rover, then yeah, that would remind me of a dog. 😂
My name is Charlie , not short for anything and defo not a dogs name
It’s my name! I would say it’s definitely more of a name used for people than dogs. I don’t know any dogs personally called Charlie X
As long as you personally don’t have a dog named Charlie in the family already then go for it! It’s a great human name and humans out live dogs.
It ranked 17th in England and Wales for baby boys in 2023 so I’d say it’s equally as popular as a actual name
My daughters name is Bonnie, which I’ve also been told is a dogs name. But it didn’t stop us from using it as we love it
Love the name 🥰
Could go Charles but nickname Charlie?
