@Salma that makes me remember a time my 17 year old had to save/collect tags of clothes the ones with logos lol 😆
@Hayley oh mine does but for toy brand tags like say Disney, or it may say Hey Duggee or some character name brand so when I get a toy I remove them else he will have more interest in that then the toy, I keep it for him to play with another time
@Salma we had loads around the house lol 😆
@Hayley, struggles to let go of things as well. Yesterday my daughter refused to take off moana dress after playing wearing it it at school, she keeps taking stuff and I send back as much as possible that I can find and remember
@Salma my youngest is forever bringing stuff home i also am forever taking stuff back and the look i get is a why. Lol he is allowed to borrow stuff then after he's not used it for a week it goes back 😄.
@Hayley some toys won't even be missed 2bh. They usually only ask me to return things that are part of a set as it renders the set useless.
Yeah i always worry about toys being lost. Especially when not ours. Oh my lad has told us that he loves how the living room can become a sensory room and makes him relax 😌
Just got to put the tent up later
@Hayley oh nice. I saw a bed tent on ikea a while back, I think I will get for my son, I don't have space for putting anywhere else. I usually give kids some other toy and they leave the ones from school quick enough for me to pack them away in their bag.
To be honest the tent takes up the living room along with the inflatable sensory rocker. So the tent will be put down every night. We managed to figure out where we can put the rocker as long as it's on the side. Even when my partner said what about when I go to work I said just move it 🤣 men lol. The tent is a success as my lads been in it with his sensory light and light up cushion and my youngest said I like sensory tent it makes me behave better 😀 I think he ment helps him to be calm 😉
As long as its a success why not. We turned our dining room into living dining so there isn't much space for things. They do have a tent which is outside in the garden they pay in it spring summer. Atm they are obsessed with Mr Grinch and keep watching the animated movie in a daily basis
We have an outside tent but needs a good clean. For the summer. Oh good movie. My youngest had an obsession of toy story 2 for a year. But he doesn't really do movies. Last week I put on winne the poo he liked it i think 🤔 as he said tigger like me then walked away lol 😆. He's very music motivated.
Yes it was a big success he can't wait to tell school our living room is not a living room now but a sensory room 🤣
@Hayley everything needs a good clean after winter 2bh, we will need to pressure wash some things, what can go in washing machine and rest wipe down. I can't wait for weather to improve, kids want their swimming pool when it's hot so will get that out also once it's hot enough

@Salma that's true. Yes my youngest loves the pool. My eldest will dip her toes in like me to cool down. When the weather is nice.
@Hayley we bought a big one so they really enjoyed last year. My Son goes for swim lessons so I hope that he will get more practice at home x
Oh lovely we just have a basic paddling pool. So he can just go in and out as he pleases. My lad does swimming at school. They have sessions on a Saturday I've not done it yet due to my anxiety
@Hayley Anxiety is annoying indeed. I also got swimming on Wednesday evening while the hubster looks after the kids as part of me time/self care because else I hardly get any time to myself.
@Salma I need to do this but would have to be in the day. Its just i need to teach myself again.
@Hayley I hope you sort something out.I had not swam for about 16 years so I lost all confidence so started from scratch. I wanted day time but as I have a 1 yo it's not possible and my husband is always working, evening he gets off work after working from home so I can go then
@Salma I know it's my anxiety letting me down. I don't want to look stupid of that makes sense so I really need to push myself to get out of my comfort zone. I need the day as my partner works evenings.
Hording toys or bits of toys, holding on to them
