Jacket potato with whichever toppings you like, spaghetti bolognese (you can get the sauce and pasta cheap) and then use leftover mince and sauce with potato’s the next day, soup and croutons or bread to dip, eggs and soldiers, chilli con carne, sausage and mash, small gammon joints can be quite cheap with some veg. There’s no shame in frozen food either! Frozen pizzas, chicken shapes, fish fingers etc. Mine tend to have smaller meals before bed like crumpets or cheese on toast or bacon sandwiches. Food is insane at the moment! Feels like the only place my money goes to x

Lentils, beans and pulses, can get tinned.. they’re cheap filling and healthy, can just add some quick veg and got a full meal. I always bulk out every pasta or chilli or curry dish with them

Pasta/ rice and mince dishes are cheap to make. Buy frozen veg as it’s much cheaper and less waste Jacket Potatoes Chicken nuggets/ fish fingers. Gammon is a cheap meat for roast dinners. Make your own yorkshires and have with roast/mash potatoes and your frozen mixed veg. Xx

If you have a slow cooker maybe a stew or cassarole etc! There is so many cheap meals you can do with the slow cooker!
