Moms in Arlington, VA
Hi! Are there any moms in Arlington, VA? My husband will relocate there for work. My son and I may possibly move there from NY, but before any decisions are made, I would like to know how are schools there. My son will be entering 4th grade in September.
Also, what area in Arlington is close to train and bus? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. ☺️ Thank you!

I don’t live there anymore but we did when my first son was born. Rosslyn/courthouse/Clarendon areas are right on the train and awesome (but probably super $ at this point). You can also go further out to Falls Church it’s just a longer commute into DC. We moved from rosslyn to the Columbia Pike area when we got married, it’s not right on a train but prices were lower and not as busy/crammed with people. Community and schools are great though, we really enjoyed our time there Alexandria is also close by and where a lot of friends live now, might be worth checking out too. Lots of great areas and agree closer to the mountains is nice it just depends on what he wants to commute…

My hubs works in NOVA. We use to live in the nova (northern va) areas too. We chose to build our life a little closer to the mountains. We feel so much safer in a rural county, yet there still plenty of ppl to connect w/ & things to do. I can't speak on schools because our family went the homeschooling route...but I can tell ya the homeschooling community is amazing. We just celebrated my daughter's bday and the group of kids she's growing with are just such a blessing...truly kind and thoughtful.
