When is best to announce your pregnancy’s publicly?

This is my 4th pregnancy but hopefully this is my rainbow baby I’m 12weeks today and I’m really wanting to announce it but at the same time I’m scared still of loosing it and I’m just having mixed emotions on when to announce it as I don’t want to be judged or loose and regret announcing it early. When did you all announce your pregnancy’s?

I think it’s whenever you feel ready! I didn’t announce mine on any social media etc but I ended up telling family / close friends when I was 8ish weeks after a private scan🙈 Congratulations!

I usually wait til after 12 weeks. Once first trimester is done you should be good mama

I announced mine at 10 weeks the day I got my first scan as I was too excited. It’s whenever you feel ready! Some people dont announce it until around 20 weeks x

I waited til 12 weeks as I had 4 miscarriages prior

You should announce as soon as you want to. It's never too early. My first pregnancy I got to 11 weeks and found out baby didn't have a heartbeat and because I didn't announce it I had to pretty much deal with it alone and felt like I had to act like I was ok. I announced my second pregnancy at 8weeks. My third pregnancy I announced at 6weeks got to 8 weeks before another missed miscarriage. I'm not sure when I announced my 2nd rainbow baby. But anyways I had help with my second loss because everyone knew what I was going through it made it slightly easier. So I definitely it's never too early x

Honestly I told myself I’d wait since I had three losses before my daughter but I was excited that I told people at like 5/6 weeks and some people knew the second I knew at 4 weeks. It’s definitely understandable you feel nervous to announce your pregnancy. Do it whenever you feel is best for you ❤️

I was 13 + 1 weeks when I had my 12 week scan (28th December) but I didn't announce until the 31st. So almost 14 weeks? It really is personal preference, I wanted to tell the world when I found out, but then found out it was twins at 6 weeks & by 9 I had lost one of the twins. The day of my 12 week scan, I was absolute nervous wreck, I thought I lost her altogether for some reason. Kept telling my partner I shouldn't be driving I was so nervous.

I personally like to wait until an ultrasound finds the heartbeat, which for me was 8 weeks

Whenever you feel like tbh! If it the day you find out or if it's after the first tri or even just before you start showing etc etc. If your announce it early and something happens you will need a support system around you during the grieving period and there are higher chances you won't lose the pregnancy so you'll still have people to support you through the first trimester and even if you don't wanna tell them that early it's entirely your choice. Personally, I announced to people within my circle at different stages of my pregnancy. The public reveal was 2 months after my baby arrived 🤣

Congratulations! Whenever you feel ready. My rainbow baby is now 5 months old but I didn’t announce on social media. That became obvious as the months went on and there were pictures of me with a bump but we told family and close friends at 12/13 weeks xx

Congratulations babe! Whenever you’re ready, I personally didn’t announce mine

I didn't publicly announce, but started telling my best friends fairly early, then by 12 weeks more close family

I’m on my first and didn’t get to announce how I would like. When I go on my second people will just have to find out on their own when I’m carrying a new born in my arms outside. I’m not saying a thing. And tbh I wish I didn’t announce my pregnancy at all it didn’t change anything. No one bought a thing off my registry so I think it depends on why you’re announcing it and will it benefit you if you do announce it.

With my first baby I waited until I was like 6 months pregnant to announce to a lot of people 😂 but I told a few people around 7 weeks

I’d do what you’re comfortable with

I announced publicly at 6 weeks. After waiting over 10 years for the positive test we chose to live in joy over living in fear. We would have been glad for the support had the pregnancy not been viable

I announced publicly after the first trimester but told my family the second I knew I was pregnant. I wanted them to know and be excited but wanted them in my corner if something happened. Do what you are comfortable with, don't let anyone's opinions dictate your feelings ❤️

So this is my fourth pregnancy but second baby. I announced my pregnancy to my boyfriend while I was at work. I took the test at work and then I told my manager because she was a pharmacist and I wanted to make sure it was true lol. I didn't tell family until I was 20+ weeks. I'm currently 36 weeks and so ready for my son to be here. I already have a son who is 3.

Personally I would wait till I give birth before announcing it publicly. I’d pop up with a picture of my baby. Rather be judged than regretting announcing it early. All the best though🤗

I wait till 20 weeks as someone that received bad news at my 20 weeks once in the past but I’m generally a private person these days! Whenever you like!

First baby I didn’t tell my family too 20wks. We didn’t put it out on social media until I had given birth. Loads of people commented on saying they didn’t know but me and my partner only wanted to tell the important people in our lives I was pregnant. This one we are waiting til 12wks because we also are announcing that we are postponing our wedding x

If you don’t want to announce it you don’t have to. I’ve seen people on my Facebook announce their baby once they were born if that maybe makes you feel more comfortable😊

Some people still don't know I had a child, and he's 1 yo, I just didn't have time for people negativity during my pregnancy x

I announced to family at 8 and 9 weeks and waited until 14 weeks to announce publicly

I wasnt bothered about posting but my husband wanted to. We waited until after week 25 I think but told friends and family way before then. That's because I read 24 weeks is vitality week so we went with that milestone

I announced when my little girl was 6 weeks old 🤣 best thing I ever did! X

We told our parents and my siblings at 9 weeks after my booking appointment then told aunts, uncles, close friends after my 12 week scan. We didn't announce on social media until after my anatomy scan at 21 weeks as we wanted to know everything was okay on that before. I did tell my manager at 4 weeks due to potential risks at work, and HR at 10 weeks as I wanted them to be aware in case I needed time off work for appointments or if I need to urgently attend the hospital etc.

I waited til I had a gender scan privately at 16 weeks before I announced anything, both times too as this is my 2nd baby. Anyone close by new already by this time though as I have hyperemisis and everyone has probably seen me throw up by now

@Jess I keep throwing up and I’m 13 weeks on Sunday I suffered with hg with my last pregnancy so I’m just scared that things will go wrong

Congratulations 🎊 my rainbow baby is now 4 months old and I announced my pregnancy after my 12 weeks. Ofc family new as soon as I found out. You announce your pregnancy when you are ready to. Xx
