February Homebirth

Hi everyone ☺️ I had my second baby girl at home this morning! My first baby was a vaginal delivery at the hospital and I was gutted I didn't get a homebirth with her, then I had a TFMR with my second baby at 21 weeks which broke my heart. So it felt so special to complete our family with the waterbirth at home I've always wanted! I had such a great team around me, husband, my mum and two brilliant midwives who knew when to leave me to it and and when to chat and assess me. Enjoying the newborn baby snuggles with my husband whilst my eldest is having a lovely day with her grandparents ❤️ Wishing everyone that's had their baby a wonderful 4th trimester and to those waiting for their babies good luck and positive birth experiences!
