I had this with my second, I was scanned every 4ish weeks to check the positioning as unfortunately you’re unable to have a natural delivery if your placenta is covering your cervix. Thankfully it can move I had a final scan at 36 weeks where it had moved to I was able to have a natural delivery which went quite smooth. Your midwife will be able to give you the key information. Just make sure you look after yourself 🩷

@Jade 👶🏼💙 was you placenta partially covering or fully Thankyou for your comment 🩷

I had placenta previa with my first baby. It never moved and I have a few bleeding episodes till I was on bedrest. I have a C-section at 37 weeks. Just check with your OB and take it easy. It can move and you can have vaginal delivery. Best of luck🙏🏻

@Natalia thankyou 🩷

I had a complete that never resolved from 21 weeks until I delivered at 32 weeks I was on pelvic rest ultrasound every 3 weeks. Was close monitor. My second bleed was the bad one that I had to delivered. I had a wild ride it was third pregnancy my other two were completely normal. I hope everything turns out for you. Depending on measurements they say sometime it can resolve by 28-30

@Shanna thankyou 🩷

I had a complete coverage and had a planned c-section at 38weeks. The consultant very nearly put me on bed rest from 36 weeks in the hospital, but I didn’t have any bleeding and was starting maternity leave, so he allowed me to stay home!

@Emily wow I’m surprised they let you go untill 38 weeks x

I had complete coverage then on my 36 week scan it had moved completely. I still had a C-section as that’s what I wanted but they did say as it had moved I could have done natural. I had no bleeding so kept going as normal and C-section at 39 weeks

@Ellise claire completely covering ❤️

Mine never resolved had a bleed at 35 weeks was admitted and kept in delivered at 36,2. Main thing is to ensure you have right people looking after you, ensure if it doesn’t resolve if you have any bleeding etc you go straight hospital and let them know
