Two tantrums
Hi everyone, I recently had another baby (he’s three months now) and my two year old is just having such a hard time with the change. His tantrums seem to be never ending and he is just so mean (which I know might sound silly) to me and his brother. He hits, talks back and makes horrible faces. It’s just… a lot… he’s better with my husband but my husband works a lot. When my husband is home he is even worse with me. Anyone go through something similar? Do you have any advice?

I don't have advice, but I can say you're not alone. I have 2.5yr old twins and the boy always pushes, bites, hits his sister and me. But he doesn't do that to his dad and rarely to our nanny. I haven't really found anything to help it stop. But I try not to draw to much attention to it, stay calm and tell him no and separate him from me or his sister when it happens. It's better not to give too much attention to it because toddlers thrive on any attention even if it's negative attention. And then later when he's being nice I try to give him extra positive attention including physical play because I think hitting is their way of expressing their need to get energy out and have our attention.
