Feeding

My little girl is same I’m pulling my hair out atm she is 11 months now was great with food! Now I’m struggling with her she will only take yogurt of spoon for me in mornings does sometimes self feed but prefers finger foods! And even struggling with that as half the time she just spits out and doesn’t swallow! It’s all very stressful…

@Heather oh glad he’s not the only one! He’s not picky with food at all, and doesn’t even spit it out he’s just not even trying it when I offer it him 😩 I’m really hoping it’s just a phase or maybe he’s just not feeling toast, egg when I have offered it him. He normally loves getting messy with lasagna, last week wouldn’t have it. I offered it him Sunday with a spoon from me - he had it 🥴🤣 so now I’m thinking he just doesn’t want to get messy? 🤣

@Laura nope! Oh your lucky my moo has I think she loved fruits and all foods she just turning her nose up at all foods atm! Dunno what to do! Even tried jar foods again and just throws it! At my wits end she should be eating properly I would have thought at her age but nope really stressing me out! Dunno if coz teething as been bad for month with it docs won’t do nothing ! Awh bless maybe also he may be abit under the weather /teething or like u say doesn’t wanna get messy! Haha

@Heather oh I hope things get better for you 😩 do you offer fruit straight into her hand? As my little one HATES the feel of banana but if I give it to him in his feeding dummy - he’ll demolish a full banana 🫠🤣 I think at this age they are also testing boundaries. Suppose we’ve just got to keep offering the foods, no matter how frustrating 🥴 xx

@LauraHa thanks! I’ve tried dummy’s no go she was picking with hands eating now she just picks up puts on her lips then throws it so I tried giving no go has a fit tried dummy’s again has a fit ! Same with all food atm! And yep I just keep going and Carry on with normal feeding if she eats it or not then she’ll start kicking of as wants to get out of high chair and wants bottle .. everyone keeps saying her teething is doing it but I’m in two minds sometimes 😭
