My little was 6 months when he went and he loved it and hes now 3 and hes in pre school and still loves it. My advice get on waiting lists now as some nursery have long waiting lists
My son went at 9 months but I’ve known earlier. I earlier they go the better in my opinion. I’ve worked in nurseries for 20+ years myself, all around Exeter so I have a good experience of most of them. Me and my son are at kiddo Caru in matford and it’s definitely been the best so far.
My first started when she turned 2, she's been there about 17 months now. My second will start in September when he's 11 months. Daughter goes to little ones Whipton and loves it, we are totally happy with it. I have booked my son his place already for September as funded hours are extending then so I think nurseries will be even fuller than normal.
I sent my LO at 5months and she loved it! I’ve never had tears at drop off as I think she was too little to really realise what was happening. The mum guilt was immense but it had to be done, I was starting a full time uni course! Unfortunately the nursery she went too is shutting down but I would recommend looking around and asking for spaces early, there are long waiting lists. E.g I got a full time space for my baby due Feb 14th back in November, starting September. Hope this helps x
