I told my nursery at 5 weeks pregnant. Mainly because I asked about changing days for my eldest back in April 2023 and they couldn’t do the day I wanted until July 2025 so I thought I would be quick on it 😅

I would start looking now definitely if you have set days in mind but you don’t have to fully commit to a place yet, most places will ask for a deposit or registration fee so make sure you see lots and find the one that’s best for you!

I'd be looking and putting names down, as someone who works in a nursery, with all the funding coming in, slots get taken very quick, it is better to be safe xxx

Ahhh great thank you! I did think I should start now I’ve got all the time now waiting to give birth so might waste some time looking at nurseries 😂

I looked at my first nursery whilst pregnant. Get in there ASAP xx

My baby is due May and already only has their place guaranteed from September 2026. If you genuinely want a place for January 2026, you may struggle and need to look now.

Start looking now! I didn't and now I can't get my baby into a nursery as there isn't any space until September/January and I go back to work in July 😂

27 weeks with my first. And 12 weeks with this one 😂 just so I can get a place where my child goes atm x

One nursery when I was 3 months pregnant and still never heard back.. little one is now 2 1/2! 😂😂 the nursery he is in think we got in and days agreed when he was like 6 months.. some waiting lists can be long so need to get names down sooner rather than later
