Reach out to close family members parents and grandparents and ask them if they can get you the bigger items so you can cross them Off the list . Such as strollers car seat/ baby bassinet or crib/ playpen/ swing . Whatever big stuff you want try to see who can get those items and go from there
If you aren’t planning a shower . Hand me downs work just as well ❤️ Facebook marketplace . Your local catholic & Salvation Army community will donate items .(free) and offer up
For sure check market place and offer for free or very low priced items. Also, local pregnancy resource centers (NOT PP, usually a faith or community based one) will have items available. They get tons of donations of new items for moms to shop for free so you can have the stuff you need for your new baby :)
I have a baby shower on the 22nd so I’m hoping we get a bit of stuff. My worry about it is that since I already have had a baby people will think I have everything I need and get mainly clothes, which is totally fine and I will be grateful for anything! I definitely feel better this morning I made a list last night if things I need to buy/do:)
@Amelia talk or have someone organize and talk to those coming about what you still need and what they’re planning on bringing so people aren’t bringing the same things. A lot of family members called me or my SIL asking what we needed for the baby shower beforehand.
Baby shower. I swear I felt exact same way and I was constantly stressed once I had my baby shower I was so relieved and got everything and more . Make a baby registry send out to family and friends and they will get what they can for you , I put organizers on there a baby stroller for going on walks and bulk wipes and diapers and surprisingly friends and family were very supportive I sent out a month in advance and the items were sent straight to my house and I had a baby shower w little to no money we just throw something on grill you can even do appetizers a cake a cookies . God is with us all your little one will have everything on time. Don’t worry mama
