Where I live (NI), pre pre doesn’t accept kids before 2y 10m so our Oct babe will be starting in Sept. I can’t remember what month applications open but she’ll be in regardless as her sister goes. Schools were applied for in Jan to start in Sept (that’s for 3 & 4yo tho).

In Scotland he won’t start school til aug 2027 so a while yet for us to do anything!

@Zuzanna I don’t think I’d get that as I don’t work but my partner does and I was told both had to work I’ve found it all so confusing 🤦🏻♀️x

I got this 15 hours funded also. You have to be working and earn certain amount to be able to get but you can get tax free childcare! My girl has been attending since April 2024, but I had to pay that privately and only started to get the 15 hours October last year 2024. You’ll get 1 full day as it stretch across the 52 weeks. I’m not sure about pre- school I think that’s school terms only. 😅
@Lou Lou oh really? My son and daughter both have 15 hours and they do Monday to Wednesday half day and Thursdays full day x
How many hours per day? Hopscotch only 8-6pm so we get one day only🥲
