We had it a couple days ago, seems to have settled down again and is eating meals but wont try anything new and refuses all fruit and veg 😭 even pouches He used to love all sorts of foods now very limited to what we can give. Just persevere they wont starve and will grow out of most food habits. I have a 21 year old too x
Yes! Exactly the same for us. Seems like an age thing but you’re right it’s so frustrating
The exact same thing with my little boy it’s been 8 days and he’s only managed one tea time just wants snacks x
Good to hear it's not just me! I think the frustrating part that I missed out is that he's definitely hungry! He'll get to he late afternoon and just be acting out so much, and he only ever does that when he hangry 😭 Hopefully this doesn't last long...
Same here. The only decent meal our daughter gets is breakfast. Then is effectively snacking all day and sometimes will eat some of our tea and sometimes won’t. So frustrating now. At my wits end with it as we rather she ate than refuse snacks 😂
Same here. It’s actually a running joke in my house now when I plate up her food how much of it will be going in the bin. About 90% 🤦🏻♀️ but snacks all day long. So frustrating!! Cos it’s food she likes or even the simplest of meals like spag bol x
Yesssss for like 2 weeks now. I now just do him a plate of food for lunch, a sandwich cheese and some sort of fruit or fruit bar so he can pick at it over time rather than a sit down meal and he does actually eat it. Dinner is a lot harder though
P.s. yes, I know this is okay as long as they eat something throughout the day.
