St Helier Maternity Unit

Hey ladies! Has anyone given birth at St Helier recently or currently getting seen by the maternity unit? I have done a self referral to them as I always go to St Helier but wondered if their Maternity Unit is good or should I have gone for like Epsom, St George’s (not as close to me)

I’m with Epsom and they’ve been amazing!

Amazing hospital 🏥 cannot speak highly enough of them, I had a wonderful experience, they also have one the best nhs maternity units in the UK x

Had mine at St Helier and they were amazing!

Gave birth in 2023 in the st Helier maternity unit, couldn’t fault them, they were amazing 🫶🏽

I was at St Helier (gave birth last January) and was very very pleased

Personally I gave birth there 4 months ago, had the worst experience. Wouldn’t give birth there again, don’t have one good thing to say

Yes! From the moment I made my self referral to giving birth (3 weeks ago), I had a great experience with them! 😊

Had my son in 2023 and they were great.

6 months ago & had a great experience! (Planned c-section, St Helier)

I had my first with st Helier and the were incredible. I went on Saturday for my first appointment with no2 and a midwife who cared for us then remembered us and gave me the biggest hug and was playing with my eldest so I could answer the questions etc. I would hugely recommend st helier

Wow, you’re all amazing! Thank you for the responses, really appreciate it. I feel a lot better staying with St Helier now :) @Nida So sorry to hear you had a bad experience! Hope you’re ok xx

I was born there 31 years ago!! But moved now I’m pregnant otherwise I probably would have had my baby there.

Gave birth there in last feb, had induction and I felt really looked after. They switch up rotas so you see the same mix of people, the midwife I had for my booking appointment was the one who helped me birth my baby ☺️
