Refusing to eat or barely eats solids, only wants his formula milk
Baby will be 11 months on Saturday, he has been a great eater no problems at all. And now he is refusing to eat or barely eats anything. Is this a thing at this age? He is about to start walking though…could be he is more interested and focused on that? First time mum, no clue.

My LO is the same loves food but she’s a little under the weather today and has refused everything - I tried all her favourite foods - cucumber, banana and broccoli & cream cheese pasta. Wouldn’t eat anything, only wanted milk. Doctor said food is the first thing to go if something isn’t quite right like teething or a cold It won’t last and he’ll be back eating again in no time
Thanks everyone. Hope its just a phase and no sickness. It been like this for a couple of days now, he is def more interested in walking than anything else.

Second time mum and still no clue other than knowing that the baby is boss 🙈 could be teething, boredom, feeling under the weather or anything else really, new skills always make them a bit off so possibly with him trying to walk. It will definitely be just another phase though. Mine has some days where he doesn’t eat and others where he eats more than my toddler. Today he refused breakfast completely but had two bottles instead, possibly teething related. He’s also started lobbing the pre loaded spoons I give him then getting annoyed because he wants it x
