Valentine’s dinner

Hey all! I’m going out for dinner tonight, obs can’t have much for obvious reason! So I am thinking to get 2 starters and olives as they’ll be very small portions! Parmigiana and salad - if goats cheese can be removed if not pasteurised. What do you think? For reference - I’ve a had mostly a high reading before breakfast (not everyday)

I recently went to an Italian restaurant and I had something similar to the burrata heart and I had three slices of pizza. My sugars were fine.

I would be mindful that a peanut stalker will show up lol. I can only see the starters but I would go with a heavy meat option as opposed to pasta. But the likelihood that the goat cheese isn’t pasteurized is super slim. Especially if you live in the US.

@Monét ahah it’s a chain so there’s many here, I doubt someone will be waiting for me 😂 😂 and I’m vegetarian and live in the UK but most of cheeses are pasteurised here! Starters are really my only option as it is a pizza place and I cannot have that 😩

I feel like you’ll be hungry after 😭 you need some fat and some protein. I’m a veggie mom too but I always assume other people eat meat lol

@Monét i wish my bf had some veggie pizza so I could steal it but I know he’ll go for some meaty pizza 😂 😂 I think I’ll have some olives too, and tbf they might have some sides but not on the menu so hoping for the best!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Is another restaurant an option?

What about getting a veggie pizza but not eating all of it and taking some home for tomorrow? And going for a nice romantic walk after dinner to bring them levels down!
