Viability Week 🎉

24 weeks today—viability week! It’s reassuring to know that if baby decided to make an early entrance, they’d have a fighting chance (praying for a healthy full term baby by God’s grace). Having had my first at 36 weeks due to PPROM, I’ve been lowkey anxious about preterm labor again. But hitting this milestone makes me breathe a little easier. Any other second-time moms feeling that ‘history might repeat itself’ anxiety? Or did your second pregnancy surprise you by going totally differently?

1st pregnancy I had my daughter at 38 weeks and 2nd pregnancy I had him at 36 weeks ( emergency c-section) as my placenta stopped working ,I’m also 24 weeks today 💙 I pray every day for a healthy pregnancy and children and I pray you do too x

22+1 today and counting down the days until 24 weeks. Had my previous two at 32 weeks (also PROM), so confident I’ll carry until then. However my fiancé’s first daughter was born at 23+1, therefore didn’t receive any medical intervention, she fought for 2 hours. So he’s definitely feeling the history repeating itself anxiety 😥 xxx

@Louise Wow, that’s a lot to carry emotionally for both of you. It’s reassuring that you made it to 32 weeks before, so hopefully, your body knows what to do again this time! Counting down with you—24 weeks will be here before you know it. 💛

Thankyou ❤️ it will be, it’s already gone so fast! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy also xxx

@Louise Thank you ❤️❤️

Congratulations! Hopefully you make it further than you ever have this time ❤️ I had a stillbirth last year with my first and I'm 23 weeks today and the baby is measuring fine but counting down til viability week eeek! Wish me luck xx

@Sonia Thank you! Wishing you all the luck and positivity as you count down to viability week and beyond. It must be a mix of emotions, but you’ve got this! Rooting for you and your little one.!

@Sonia sorry for your loss Sonia. Keeping everything crossed for you xxx

I'm anxious about pprom all the time. We had 3 losses prior to this pregnancy, and I've been having extra cervical checks due to having a now corrected uterine septum. They've found a link between septate uteruses and cervical issues even if it's been resected. I have my last cervical ultrasound this week, so fingers crossed, it's still long and closed!

@Hayley good luck Hayley! Sending you all the prayers that it all goes well for you!
