Anyone else been assigned a portage worker & found this has helped with there child's development? We have just been assigned a lovely lady that will learn through play focusing on speech & understanding

@Robyn have you had a visit from the portage team. How old is your little one and what are your worrys with them if u don't mind me asking x
@Sarah hi Sarah. I’ve had an initial visit, yes. It’s taken about 6 months to get to this point. We’re now on a list to be assigned a play worker. My son was diagnosed with a genetic condition whereby delays in milestones are a symptoms. He wasn’t speaking apart from “mama” and babbling. Also he hadn’t started walking. This is why we were referred However, Miraculously in the past week and a half he’s started walking independently a few steps at a time and has started to say words! Hes now 22 months
