Can you not get a nurse at your Drs surgery to do this? x

@Katie I googled it, no unfortunately xx

If you’ve known someone yourself who has worked in a recognised profession you can get them to countersign it. Have you got a job/on maternity leave? You can ask a manager or director to sign this, even if you have a partner that works they should be able to do this at their work also if they’re in employment? xx

@Katie thanks so much I might ask my manager, yes I’m on maternity leave. I can’t ask my partner as the person must not be related xx

No worries, if your partner is on the birth certificate they have parental responsibility so have the same entitlement to you also where they can apply for the babies passport. Its just people must not be related where countersignatures are concerned, hope you get sorted though ☺️ xx

You can ask your partners employer/your employer as long as they are company director. You can also pay a solicitor but honestly I don’t know how much they charge. You can ask a doctor to do it also but again it incurs a charge I believe.
