Low PAPP-A and a notch in the cord

Has anyone else been diagnosed with the things above? This pregnancy is a lot more mentally draining than my last one 🫠

I have low papp-A x

My first pregnancy i had low PAPP-A. The pregnancy was fine just had more growth scans and had to take aspirin throughout. I was told that my son was going to be small as a result but he was born at 7lb13 so not exactly small 😄

I’m already on the aspirin and have been since 14 weeks but the notch in the cord is making me worried. It’s apparently completely unrelated to low Papp-a but has similar outcomes of a smaller baby and so I have growth scans from 28 weeks. I’m just hoping that the baby is average sized. My first was 8lbs 10oz

I dont have papp-a but i do have a notch in my left cord. Super anxious about this as I had a stillbirth last year. But I've just simply been told I'll have more scans - 28,32,36 and 40 weeks and i may get pre-eclampsia or baby may be underweight. Currently 25 weeks and baby was measuring fine at 22 weeks so anxiously waiting to see what the 28 week scan shows!

@Sonia Low PAPP-A increases chances of preeclampsia as well. It’s like I have a double whammy of it all. I’m expecting to have a small baby now bcs I genuinely don’t think that with both issues that baby will be fine 🥲 I’m 24 weeks on Friday and so ready to reach viability

@Amber did you get a scan around 22 weeks to check the blood vessels, they should of also prescribed aspirin to takr x

@Lauren I got aspirin from 14 weeks and the scan was just an additional one at 20 weeks
