My LG is 8mo this week. At the moment, she's still half and half purée and finger food. She doesn't seem to eat a lot of the finger food, but enjoys playing with it and trying it.
Should she be moving onto just finger food from now on?

My LG is 8 months tomorrow. She's mainly purees but has some finger food snacks at lunch time. But breakfast and dinner are purees
My girl is almost 9 months and she has a mix of finger foods and spoon feeding (not purees though). The smoothest thing she has is weetabix! She loves feeding herself, and the more you do it the better they get at it
We went straight in with blw, she hasn’t had a puree. I don’t think anything is right here and you just need to do what you’re comfortable with and follow babies lead. Mine is on 3 meals a day now which I know isn’t recommended till later but it works for both of us. And when I say 3 meals a day most of it ends up on the floor or the dog 😅 x
