Applying for a job as a teacher at a university

I have an interview to teach at a university, does anyone know what type of interview questions I'm likely to get asked? I'm not worried about questions related to my profession, as I'm a specialist in my field, just feeling anxious that there may be teaching specific questions that could throw me, as I have no formal teaching experience and only have a students perspective of how uni works. Thanks

Maths and computer science teacher here, congrats on the interview! Since you’re a specialist in your field, they’ll likely focus on your ability to communicate your expertise effectively to students. Even without formal teaching experience, you can draw on your experiences as a student to show an understanding of what makes an engaging and supportive learning environment. Some common university teaching interview questions might include: • How would you structure a lecture or seminar for first-year students in your subject? • How would you handle a student who is struggling with the material? • How do you engage students with different learning styles? • What strategies would you use to encourage critical thinking and discussion? • How would you assess student learning and progress? • How do you handle classroom management in a university setting?

@Sana thanks so much for replying and the tips 🙌🏻🙌🏻
