ED with young husband šŸ˜ž

Hi everyone. I have been married to my wonderful husband for three years now, and we have a beautiful 2 yo daughter we adore. (We bedshare, so intimacy usually has to be strategically planned.) My husband, 33, has issues with ED due to weight and blood pressure issues. He gets aroused, but often loses his erection while we are doing the deed because his heart rate goes up and causes the blood flow to go there instead of where we need it. He has a prescription to help with this, which has to be taken in advance, but sometimes we want spontaneous sex and it doesnā€™t work because of this issue. Heā€™s stated heā€™s afraid that even after he loses weight, this could still be a problem. Any thoughts or advice on how to handle this?

Can you stop bed sharing ?

Weā€™ve tried before without it working for us, so we decided bedsharing is what works best for our family for now.

Do you know if ED is a side effect of the blood pressure medication? Or is he even on any?

Heā€™s on medication for BPā€¦ I hadnā€™t thought about that. I will look to see if that could be a reason itā€™s happening.

As a former big person, loosing weight meant my sex drive was much better. I wouldnā€™t be afraid of losing weight. The worse that could happen is he needs medication for that, and he already takes it. Losing the weight would probably get rid of his BP issues too. Just my personal opinion based on experience (I lost 129lbs). Hope it gets better soon!!

Ya definitely worth looking into! And I agree with @Noemi Nunez ! Usually weight loss and exercise helps with libido!
