Mine is the same, my first had no problem so I’m at a loss what to do?! I just keep trying little bits of puree each day to try get her used to it even if it’s just the routine of sitting in high chair etc
Mine is the same. And my first was completely different too - loved food right away. I just keep trying - into the highchair every meal time that they are awake. And a little food each time - sometimes it’s a bit of my toast or banana. Other times it’s a few spoons of a pouch (have started freezing them in ice cubes trays as was such a waste not using them in the 48hr window) or some of our meal blended with stick blender. I go with what ever is easiest and lowest stress. And I stopped cooking anything just for them. None of the food is actually eaten yet. Just played with and gagged on. It was feeling stressed about it but I keep repeating the mantra of ‘food before 1 is just for fun’. I figure as long as I keep offering a variety of foods in a regular way he will eat when he’s ready 🤷♀️ Could do with him eating a bit more during the day so he stops asking for milk every hour at night though 🤦♀️
Sounds like she is not yet ready, which is ok… the gag reflex needs to be gone first :)
