Fasting Ramadan while 1st trimester pregnant

No. For several reasons. Your baby needs all the nutrients possible. Not to mention, you need energy as well, and might feel even more sick with fasting. I tried one day and it was awful, personally. At the end of the day, it’s your choice. Allah knows what’s in our hearts. He is understanding and Islam is not meant to be difficult. This is why we women are allowed to make up our fasts at a different time due to these specific difficulties we have to bear.

I did sadly and I would NOT recommend. It was dreadful to me and if I could go back in time, I would not fast . I was pretty much bedridden all month and did almost no worship. Healthywise for you and baby, I believe it's better not to fast. But the choice is yours obv. Speak to your midwife/health practitioner.
