Swelling

I would maybe contact triage for advice as sudden and severe swelling could be pre-eclampsia x

Yep, I went and got checked after community midwife was concerned, we got told it was good we got it checked, and then told it was likely down to the fact baby has ‘dropped’ for us so the extra pressure on everything has just made the swelling wild, and that it’s all normal for some women to hold more fluid than others…. Not sure how I’m gonna be able to last another 5 weeks 😂

Have you tried elevating your feet at all? They say things like not crossing your legs etc can help too. It is by no means a complete fix, but it can certainly ease the discomfort of the swelling! I do find in a morning things are more ‘normal’ after resting but it probably takes about 20 minutes of chasing my toddler round before my only hope of wearing footwear to get out of the house is my husbands sliders 😂🫣

They have been up, they were just as fat when I woke up 🫣 Is there anything else that you do for it? I tried to put my sketchers on today and they wouldn't go on 🤣🫣

If you can't see a difference even when raised might be worth getting checked! I get swelling too but can tell the difference between morning and night and it always goes down overnight. 😊
