Moving to Houston TX in April… HELP!!

Hi everyone! So I’m moving to Texas from New Jersey in April/May with my boyfriend and 10 month old baby (Very last minute due to bad living situation with family) Since we are trying to get things together now, I’d like for this move to be as stress free as possible so the big thing we’re trying to get settled now is finding a rental around $1,500 or less in Houston (at least 2 bedrooms and a HOUSE, LOFT or TOWNHOUSE preferably) Any TX residents have any suggestions/recommendations of nice affordable places in the area? TIA❤️

definitely depends on the area.. i’m in the southwest area of houston and i pay 1315 for a 2x2 and it’s spacious being that it’s just me and my son.. not sure how big you’re wanting the apartment

Thank you @Joyce !! @jasmine as long as it’s larger than a small 2x2 which I’m currently staying in that costs close to 4K a month and it’s about the size of a 1bdrm…. So as long as it’s something with ample space and much cheaper than what I’m paying currently bc NJ cost of living is ridiculous

gramercy park- $1400-1500 for a 2x2 and very spacious mia west (currently where i reside)- 1300-1400 also spacious kitchen not as big beckett cottingham- still brand new and spacious not sure if they went up in price but i think a 2x2 was $1400 last i visit just a few options i can think on the top of my head as far as price range

I also recommend looking at the app HAR. I know several people that have found houses there.
