Make sure you are drinking water. Use exaggerated expressions when drinking water. What ever water bottle you use, look for a mini version and let her use it. Also, her water intake may be fine. Remember, certain foods have lots of water. I also remember using my faucet to help. Putting it on the sprinkler function and while washing hands just letting him drink.
@Shanee I'm always drinking water and she loves drinking from my Owala! They don't make a spill proof version, unfortunately.
I offer her a sippy cup of water right when she wakes up and she chugs it and then just keep offering her a water bottle throughout the day especially after she’s been playing for a little while or during snack time. Like @Shanee said you can also keep her hydrated through watermelon, cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, etc
I just got my daughter the smaller version of my owala cup because she is obsessed with mine! She does pretty good with it, not spilling. I’ve let her hold mine while drinking from it so I think that’s helped. Maybe you can have her practice with yours and eventually get her the smaller version
Ok... but they do offer a mini version. Spill proof isn't necessary at almost 2 years old. At this point, i would try an open cup. New things excite our toddlers.
@Hannah is the lid as hard try close as the full-size? She struggles getting it shut again and usually asks for help.
Yeah it’s about the same, my daughter usually needs help so I just help her and I’m sure she’ll eventually be able to do it herself
I agree with @Shanee. Modeling. And I "cheers" with her and then really emphasize that after you "cheers," you drink. She loves it. She'll drink A LOT just "cheersing" throughout the day lol But I also drink quite a bit of water, so my kids see it A LOT.
Put a little juice in it 😬 my son hates water 😭
