Daycares in San Diego

Hey! I’ve heard that daycares have a long wait time so want to start getting organized now - what are the best daycares in San Diego? I live in La Mesa but happy to travel if it’s worth it. What’s important when looking for a daycare? What makes one better than another?…. Edit - also really interested in Spanish immersion

I need day care too!!

Best factors: 1. Warm, loving, friendly staff/teachers. This is top. Also check to see if they’ve had the same teachers/staff for awhile 2. Smaller ratios 3. Play based curriculum. If they’re sitting at desks/going thru a prek curriculum for toddlers then it’s not a good program. Look for tons of unstructured play time, imaginary play, outdoor time Things that make your life easier if you work include how close they are to you and if they offer meals.
