Peaky eater? (Not eating anything)

Hi, I have a 14 month old super active toddler boy. He likes to play, the moment he opens his eye early morning. He is gaining weight and height. He just takes one nap. The problem is I am EBF and I thought in first year the main nutrients are from milk. So I never forced him to eat if doesn’t want to. But then I got to know Iron deficiency can cause loss of appetite. And after labs its confirmed, he is anemic. But even after 20 days of supplements he doesn’t want to try any new food. I am really worried 😞. He just takes home made cookies and stopped eating nuggets. Help mamas?🙏

Hi, I can give you some recipes that I make for my baby. He has been eating quite a bit since he was 6 months old and for his iron I give him lots of lentils, broccoli and meat. Try making him pancakes with oat flour, egg, lentils and then change the last ingredient for broccoli or carrot.

Pls share recipes, that would be such a great favor He used to oats pancakes and nuggets. But I feel like he is fed up of it as well.

Stop giving him the cookies. My son is going through this same thing. I stop giving him things he likes, I made oatmeal, cream of wheat( iron) to start with then moved to bigger foods. My doctor told me it’s not going to hurt him if he goes without a meal just make sure he is drink water or milk

Does he show interest in what your eating? My munchie will only eat off someone elses plate if she doesn't watch you eat first she won't eat

I feel like kids always have a love hate relationship with food and it is suuuppeeeerrr stressful. What kinda help me and I say kinda because my little one still love to fight or resist food is staying constant have meal times around the same time everyday and trying to distract then sometimes helps. My floor looks crazy after meal times with all the random stuff I give me son. I recently bought like a baby fidget spinner and it kinda helps 🤷🏽‍♀️
